typical story with cliche plot twists and big name actors to sell it

That's my description of "Happily N'ever After", which I just wasted $6 to watch. The only redeeming thing about going to see the movie would have been watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie trailer, but no, I was late and missed it. I'm telling you, I am through with American Animation...

We basically have three(?) big Animation studios. Pixar...erm Disney (couldn't handle it anymore so they had to buy Pixar), Dreamworks, and paramount(?). Disney has discarded traditional animation styles. I'm so sick of hearing about Cars. It was not that great of a movie. The only thing disney does anymore is make stupid sequels to already stupid movies just so that they can fool people into buying them because "hey, it's disney! and disney is awesome!". screw that. Then look at Shrek, Hoodwinked, Doogal, Happily N'ever After, and others. Same typical character designs, some stupid story with a few various funny moments spread throughout the movie, some adult overtones to get adults to laugh, and big name actors to sell it. I can't remember the last Non-Japanese animated movie I saw that I actually liked.

screw all that. Japanese Animation is soo superior. I have no idea how many different production studios there are in Japan but there sure are more than three...And they havent thrown away traditional animation and gone over to CG. Every different studio (ok, not all of them) have different character designs so that they don't look like last year's left overs and are unique. They actually have unique, deep, thought provoking and creative stories.

::sigh::...Sorry, i'm just pissy I wasted $6. I know nobody wants to hear it but I'm fucking lonely and depressed and emo.. It would be so nice to be able to cuddle with someone right now. I know, I know...If it's ment to be, it will happen and I'll find true love but i'm tired of waiting for it to knock on my door...
